Visit Dallas-Fort Worth For The Excitement And Relaxation You Seek

Heading to Texas may not be the top beach vacation destination, but there’s a lot more to the world than visiting the beach.  The Dallas-Fort Worth area is one of the most diverse and lively places to explore within the whole of the nation.

There are museums, gorgeous green spaces, amusement parks, excellent dining, and a bangin’ nightlife to explore.  You won’t get bored in this city, and here are a few ways to start your adventures.

Take a day for the State Fair

The Texas State Fair is the biggest state fair in the whole nation.  You can spend the whole day checking out gigantic pigs, lots of cools fair rides, live music, and plenty of cool booths at the Texas State Fair.

You’ll have to hit the fair during the fall months, as it runs from late September through the month of October.  It’s a great way to stay out of trouble while you’re in the city.  The weather is perfect this time of year, and you’ll enjoy a nice day out.

Check out Klyde Warren Park

This unique park sits over top of a major freeway, but you wouldn’t know it from the peaceful atmosphere resonating throughout the place.  Klyde Warren Park hosts a slew of special events throughout the year, but it’s a beautiful experience even on a slow day.

Get a taste for the area from one of the many food trucks that line the streets throughout the park.  Maybe grab a book from the library nearby, and spend time soaking in the rays as your mind travels to another place.

Take a day to enjoy the arts

Just across the street from the park, you will find the Dallas Museum of Arts.  Extend your chill factor, and take a peek at some of the areas freshest creations.

The best part about the museum is that it won’t cost you a thing to hop into the world of art.  This is not just a relaxing day plan, but the park and the museum are also a great experience for the whole family.

Get a view of the city at Reunion Tower

You can’t visit Dallas without getting a view from above the city.  Reunion Tower offers a panoramic view of the city like no other, and it won’t cost you a thing to take a peek.  If the weather grants you a clear day, you’ll have a skyline view for miles.

Visit the Bishop Arts District for shopping

If you want the perfect spot to do some shopping and get a delicious meal, you need to visit the Bishop Arts District.  The Dallas Grilled Cheese Co will host a rad lunch for you and your friends/family.  If you’re looking for some fun after the sun goes down, the area hosts a long list of excellent bars.
